Casa Irene

A long-renowned Arties address — a refined, gastronomic take on Pyrenean cooking built around top mountain produce, awarded a Repsol Sol (Guía Repsol's fine-dining distinction) and one of the Val d'Aran's most celebrated tables for a special dinner. The house has been going since 1974, half a century of cooking in the same village, and it is also a small mountain hotel of just 22 rooms, with a wellness area running to a Finnish sauna, contrast showers, a hammam, a jacuzzi and a heated pool. It runs a second, more rustic mountain restaurant alongside it, La Borda de Irene.
