The Pla de Beret is a broad glacial plateau that also holds one of the Pyrenees' hydrological curiosities: the springs here feed rivers running to both the Atlantic (the Garona/Garonne) and, via the Noguera Pallaresa, the Mediterranean — a genuine continental watershed.

Yes — the Beret plateau at around 1,850 m has the resort's widest, gentlest and most snow-sure runs, plus the Nordic circuit, which makes it the best sector for beginners, families and cross-country skiers.
It's a genuine continental watershed: springs a stone's throw apart send water to two different seas — the Garona/Garonne north to the Atlantic, the Noguera Pallaresa south to the Mediterranean. In winter it carries about 7 km of Nordic (cross-country) tracks, and in summer an easy family walk follows the young Noguera Pallaresa down to the isolated Montgarri sanctuary.
